The Daily Face - November 28, 2011
under eyes: Make Up For Ever HD Concealer in 325
eyeliner: MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack, Make Up For Ever Aqua Liner in Shade 10 (red)
eye shadow: NARS Duo in Scorching Sun, MAC Goldenrod, MAC Goldmine
eye brows: MAC Eye Brow Pencil in Fling
eye lashes: Dior Blackout
lips: NARS Lipstick in Heatwave
Ok so I probably wouldn’t wear my makeup like this out on the street, but it’s definitely a look that can be modified for everyday wear. I started by lining the upper and lower inner rims with Blacktrack. Then I lined the top lid and under the lash line with the red Make Up For Ever liquid liner. The red liner continues around the entire eye, meeting in the corners.
Next I applied the dark shimmery orange from the Scorching Sun Duo from lash line to crease and under the lower lash line. Then I applied MAC Goldenrod into the crease, blending up towards, but not touching the brow bone. I extended this color into the inner corners of the eye touching the inner corners of the brows. Last I applied Goldmine to the brow bone, around the outer corners of the eyes and well below the lower lash line, almost onto the top of the cheekbone. The products should create a gradient effect, with the darkest colors close to the eyes, getting lighter as it moves toward the brows and cheekbones. Make sure all the colors blend fluidly into one another.
Last I applied a lot of mascara and NARS lipstick in heatwave.
I really like the solid black and white
